Kathmandu, August 28th. The last death rites of CPN (UML) Vice President and Constituent Assembly Chairman Subash Chandra Nemwang have been performed today at Pashupati Aryaghat. His two sons, Mingso Nemwang and Suhang Nemwang, have lit candles in the funeral ceremony with royal commemoration honours.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kazi Shrestha, Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli, RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden, Speaker of the House of Representatives Devraj Ghimire, Minister of Communications and Information Technology to pay their last respects at the funeral program. Party leaders along with Rekha Sharma had reached Aryaghat to participate and pay the respects. Leader Nemwang, who was also the former speaker, died on Tuesday, August 26 at 1:50 am.
Also, the participation of general public in the last rites of Nemwang was huge.
