Government of Nepal announced Thursday, September 14, in the day of Nemwang's last rites day, a public holiday. On that day, it has also been any decided to fly the national flag at half-mast in government offices, Nepalese embassies and missions abroad.

Chairman of the Constituent Assembly and current member of the House of Representatives Mr. Subashandra Nemwang at the age of 71 years dated 2080.05. He died untimely on the morning of the 26th.
