Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has opened ticket booking for regular flights to Hong Kong and Delhi from Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) located in Bhairahawa, with transit in Kathmandu from today.
As per the plan, the corporation will start with one flight each Tuesday from Bhairahawa and later increase the number of flights according to the market demand and market management of the corporation. According to the flight schedule, a plane that takes off from Bhairahawa at 8.15 am would land in Kathmandu at 9.00 am.
Passengers can book and obtain online tickets by logging the website of the NAC or even get tickets from NAC's office or from nearby travel agency. Passengers going to Hong Kong after transit will board the flight to Hong Kong and passengers flying to Delhi will board the connecting flight of the NAC to New Delhi.
According to the NAC, the boarding pass to the destinations are given at the time of check-in and the luggage would directly be taken to the destination facilitating to the passsengres.
The NAC management has decided to take a special initiative to resume flights from the GBIA, which was built under the project of National Pride, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
