SATV Kathmandu Oct 05: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has evacuated 393 people at risk of flood to safe locations. These people were at risk of flood as they had been residing near the bank of rivers in the metropolis.
KMC Mayor Balendra Shah said that these people at risk of flood have been shifted to four schools. According to him, 70 people have been evacuated to Vishwa Niketan Secondary School, Tripureshwar, 52 people to Guheshwari Secondary School, 251 people belonging to 52 families to Jana Bikas Secondary School Kuleshwar and 20 people to Mahendra Saraswati Basic School at Teku.
