Kathmandu, Sept.12: The body of a person has been found charred to ashes after a fire broke out at Bhatbhateni Supermarket in Dharan Sub-metropolitan City.
Ward chair of Dharan-10 Bibek Rai said that ashes in the shape of body has been recorded. The incident took place after a group of anarchists torched Bhatbhateni on Putali Line in Dharan-10 during the second day of the protest against the Gen Z protest.
Two days after the fire was completely extinguished, a search was conducted and only the remains of the skull, teeth, and bones were found on the second floor of Bhatbhateni.
He said that the identity of the body can be ascertained after DNA testing.
Police said that the remains will be examined and a postmortem will be conducted. L
Locals suspect that there may be two more bodies. Locals say that three protesters were trapped there during the arson.
