SATV Kathmandu Sept 25: More than 30 climbers from 8K Expeditions have successfully scaled the world's eighth highest peak as they found a fair summit window on Mt Manaslu.
"At least 26 climbers including 13 Sherpas stood atop the 8,163-metre mountain this morning," Lakpa Sherpa, Managing Director and Expedition Leader for 8K Expeditions, said over phone from the base camp.
Climbers continued their summit push on Manaslu as they found a fair window, Lakpa, who managed 8K Expeditions from the base camp, shared. According to him, at least four climbers from his company scaled the mountain without using supplemental oxygen.
