SATV Kathmandu Sept 23: Newly appointed Minister for Education, Science and Technology Mahabir Pun took charge of his office at Keshar Mahal on Sunday, shortly after taking the oath of office and secrecy at the President's Office.

On his first day, Minister Pun signed a decision to form four advisory committees focused on space technology, nuclear technology, biotechnology, and information technology including artificial intelligence, according to the ministry.

The committees' mandates have been proposed, and members will be named later.
