SATV, Kathmandu, Oct. 26- Janakpur Cigarette Factory Limited has urged individuals and institutions with outstanding financial transactions, business dealings, or other liabilities with the company to submit their claims along with supporting evidence. The factory has issued a public notice providing a 21-day deadline for submitting such claims.

The factory, which is wholly owned by the Government of Nepal, has invited claims following the completion of an assessment of its assets and liabilities. According to the notice, an expert team deployed by the Ministry of Finance completed the assessment as part of efforts to manage the government’s investment in the factory, in accordance with a decision made by the Council of Ministers on Baisakh 15, 2082.

Customers, employees, and other stakeholders who have conducted transactions with the factory are required to submit details of their financial dealings and outstanding liabilities, along with supporting documents. Individuals or institutions with claims related to amounts payable or receivable under court judgments or decisions of other authorities, land restrictions, insurance, employee benefits, and other related matters must contact the factory within the specified period.

Similarly, individuals and institutions with outstanding dues or other obligations payable to the factory must also submit the relevant details with supporting evidence.

The factory has stated that if no claims are received within the stipulated 21-day period, it will proceed in accordance with prevailing laws. The notice further states that no claims against the factory will be entertained after the deadline.
