BBC News, Jan.1: "Several" people have been killed after an explosion and fire in a bar in the Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana, police say.

The explosion happened at around 01:30 (00:30 GMT) in a bar called Le Constellation. The cause of the explosion is not known.
