SATV July 7, 2025, Kathmandu: On July 5, the fourth "Fenjiu International • Lianshe Cup" basketball tournament organized by the Chinese Enterprises Association of Nepal successfully concluded in Kathmandu. A series of thrilling matches delivered an exhilarating basketball spectacle for both on-site and online audiences.

The battle for third place kicked off in the morning, featuring an intense showdown between Poly Changda KTFT and the Pioneer Team. From the start, both teams quickly found their rhythm, engaging in fast-paced, back-and-forth action with high-intensity offense and defense in the first quarter. The defending Champion Pioneer Team, displayed seamless coordination and tactical execution, showcasing the depth of a seasoned powerhouse. However, Poly Changda KTFT refused to back down, leveraging superior rebounding and relentless aggression to gradually break through their opponents' defense and build a lead. Maintaining their strong performance throughout the game, Poly Changda KTFT ultimately secured an 11-point victory, clinching the third-place trophy and adding another highlight to the tournament.

In the highly anticipated final match, the Embassy-Power China United Team continued their dominant three-game winning streak, storming ahead early with unstoppable momentum. Facing formidable opponents, the China Construction Seventh Engineering Division United Team put up a tenacious defense and made timely substitutions to disrupt their rivals' rhythm. However, the Embassy-Power China United Team's fast-paced offense and pinpoint shooting proved too much to handle, leaving their opponents unable to mount a comeback. In the second half, the Embassy-Power China United Team pressed their advantage, widening the gap to seal a resounding 64-29 victory and claim the championship title. This joint team, formed by the Embassy and Power China, emerged as the undisputed champions of the fourth "Fenjiu International • Lianshe Cup" with an undefeated record.

Following the matches, a grand awards ceremony was held, attended by distinguished guests including Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song, Counsellor Xie Yu, Counsellor Zhu Feng, Military Attaché Lü Guozheng, and Chinese Enterprises Association of Nepal Secretary-General Chen Xu, who presented awards to the winning teams.

In his congratulatory speech, Ambassador Chen Song praised the successful organization of the tournament and commended all participating teams for their outstanding performances.
