SATV 13 May, Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for Tuesday, showing mixed trends in the value of major international currencies.

The exchange rate for the US dollar remains unchanged for the third consecutive day, with the buying rate fixed at NPR 136.30 and the selling rate at NPR 136.90.

This stability contrasts with its peak on Magh 25, when the dollar reached its highest value in the Nepali market—buying at NPR 139.83 and selling at NPR 140.43.

Among other currencies, the Bahraini dinar has seen a slight increase today, with the buying rate at NPR 361.54 and the selling rate at NPR 363.13—up from NPR 361.52 and NPR 363.11, respectively, the previous day. The rate had remained stable over the past two days.

However, the value of several currencies that had risen yesterday has declined today.

The euro’s buying rate has dropped to NPR 151.27 and the selling rate to NPR 151.94, compared to NPR 153.31 and NPR 153.99 yesterday. Similarly, the pound sterling now stands at NPR 179.40 (buying) and NPR 180.19 (selling), down from NPR 181.35 and NPR 182.15.

The Australian dollar also weakened slightly, with today’s buying rate at NPR 87.13 and selling rate at NPR 87.51, compared to NPR 87.40 and NPR 87.78 on Monday.

The Kuwaiti dinar has followed a similar trend, with a buying rate of NPR 443.18 and a selling rate of NPR 445.13, down from NPR 444.30 and NPR 446.26.

These fluctuations reflect ongoing adjustments in global currency markets as influenced by regional and international economic factors. https://nepalnews.com/s/business/nrb-publishes-foreign-exchange-rates-for-tuesday/
