
SATV, Lumbini, March. 20 - The Third Lumbini Peace Concert was grandly held on Friday evening at Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Organized under the Lumbini International Peace Festival, the event showcased a harmonious blend of music, culture, and diplomatic goodwill. The program witnessed the notable presence of high-level officials, representatives, and both domestic and international guests.

During the event, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Zhang Maoming, delivered a keynote speech highlighting the long-standing friendship and growing cultural ties between Nepal and China. Stating that “art is a language that requires no translation,” he emphasized the powerful role of music and art in connecting people beyond borders.

The concert featured joint performances by Nepali and Chinese artists, presenting a unique fusion of traditional melodies from the Mongolian grasslands and Nepali music. The performances became a major attraction for the audience and reflected the cultural unity between the two countries.

Concluding the program, Ambassador Zhang expressed his wishes for world peace, public well-being, and the enduring friendship between Nepal and China. Such events continue to contribute to establishing Lumbini as an international center for peace, spirituality, and cultural dialogue.
