SATV, 04 October Kathmandu: On October 4th International Department of the CPC, on the coordination with the China Foundation for Rural Development(CFRD) and New Light Foundation has conducted emergency relief distribution program with a motto of "Join Hands to Face Challenges Together" in Kathmandu.

The program was attended by Mr. Wang Xin, representative of Chinese Embassy of Nepal, Mr. Madhu Acharya, Head of Local level coordination Department, Nepali Congress, Mr. Ram Kumar Bhattarai Deputy General Secretary and Office secretary of CPN, Chair-Person of KMC Ward No. 12, Mr. Bal Krishna Maharjan and others. 

The relief materials worth nineteen millions seventy thousands Nepalese rupees has been handed over to the representatives of the political parties by Mr. Wang Xin. The relief materials consisted of two sets including a sack of rice, mattress, 2 kg of cereals, tooth brush and toothpastes, water dispenser, 2 liters of edible oil and other needy items to almost 1200 victims of flood inside the Kathmandu valley.

While handing the relief materials over to the local representatives, Embassy of China representative Mr. Wang Xin had expressed deep sympathy to the victims of the flood and promised further aid. Remembering the assistance China had done during 2015 Earthquake and COVID Pandemic, he stated that China would never let their neighbor helpless in tough situation and always stands to help and restore the situation to normal. This program is one of the such activities.

The ward chair of Kathmandu Metro as a local representative thanked the CPC and Chinese embassy for this invaluable help. " We are indebted to this help." He said. "The relief materials are to be distributed to the real victims of the flood and in order.", He further clarified.
