Kathmandu, Feb 12: Chinese fair which will continue for two more days has been successfully inaugurated today in Tudikhel, Kathmandu on the occasion of Chinese Spring Festival.

Indira Rana Magar, Deputy Speaker of House of Parliament attended the program as a chief guest while delegates Ambassador of China to Nepal; His Excellency Chen Song and Rahul Chaudhary were present in the event. Today, the third day of lunar New Year has been celebrated by Chinese by conducting fair.

The Chinese Embassy in Nepal, the Nepal Tourism Board and the Kathmandu Metropolitan City jointly organized the fair with the wide participation of the Chinese and Nepali communities.

Cultural exhibition, food and drink exhibition, vehicle exhibition, book exhibition, photography exhibition, Tamang exhibition, on-site medical consultation and other programs are included in the fair, which has a wide participation of Chinese and Nepali community.

Ambassador of People's Republic of China to Nepal hoped that, this series of activities will meet the consensus of the leaders of the two countries, meet the expectations of the people of the two countries and continue to deepen the friendship between Nepal and China. He delightedly explains, "We have brought the Chinese New Year celebration to the snow-filled Buddhist country of Nepal so that the friendship between the two countries can blossom next to Mount Everest standing on the peak of the sky".

Indira Rana Magar, Deputy Speaker of parliament as a chief guest addressed one China principal commitment to be straight forward and unshakeable. Sharing warm remarks she exchanged that she feels China is like our family who are connected through Himalayas and rooted through culture and ethics.

The event was high with different kind of entertainment programs. 

Kung Fu, a skill of actions and fights, which is quite inseparable from China was performed with full of actions, vitality and zeal to the guests and audience. 

Chinese dance signifying the art of plucking and managingtea herbs was celebrated on stage.

The dragon is the totem of the Chinese nation, strong and majestic posture, courage and fearlessness, blessing the spirit of the four seas, strong and powerful, not only a symbol of five thousand years of continuous self-improvement of the Chinese nation struggling to move forward in the spirit of blood, but also millions journey to promote the building of a strong country.
