India's Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar completed his courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal "Prachanda".

Minister S. Jaishankar boarded his flight to Nepal’s Tribhuwan International Airport today morning at 10 am at the invitation of the Foreign Minister of Nepal, Mr. N.P. Saud for co-chairing the 7th meeting of the India-Nepal Joint Commission. This is the seventh meeting of the Joint Commission of Foreign Ministers between Nepal and India which is going to be held after three years. This is Jaishankar's second visit to Nepal as Foreign Minister.

He already finished his meeting with Prime Minister Prachanda. In a recent meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Foreign Minister Saud said that India is unwilling to discuss disputed issues like the report of the Eminent Persons' Group, the boundary dispute involving Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura, and the 1950 Peace and Friendship Treaty.

After the meeting with the Prime Minister in Baluwatar, Foreign Minister Jaishankar will hold a meeting with his Nepali counterpart Saud at 1 o'clock. After a 15-minute meeting between them at Hotel Yak and Yeti, a meeting of the Nepal-India Joint Commission will be held there.

After the meeting, Jaishankar will have a separate meeting with UML President KP Oli and Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba by participating in the lunch organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In the evening, Jaishankar will attend a dinner hosted by Foreign Minister Saud at Hotel Solti.

Jaishankar is scheduled to visit the Pashupatinath temple on Friday morning. After that, after inaugurating the central library built with the help of India at Tribhuvan University, his program in Nepal will be completed. He will return to Delhi at 12:30 PM.
