Himalayan Airlines on the festive occasion of Bada Dashain organises rounds of celebration in the office through different types of greeting and exciting entertainment activities fulfilling corporate social responsibility which includes giving back to society.
Himalaya Airlines started with the greetings and exchanges with Prayas Nepal Children by having lunch in new restaurant established by orphan children to encourgae their entrepreneur spirit.
Ujjwala Dali, head of department Brand of Himalaya Airlines speaks about the competition in detail with SATV, "We look after company celebration during all Nepalese festivals. Himalaya in Bijaya dashami has a tradition of flying kites carried further by the younger generation. For dashain festive spirit we have organised three main activities among employees." She adds," our companies and cultural values are mixed and brought together".
"H9 Daami Changa", meaning "best kite" is the first game in which participants make their own Kite within 2 HR time limit with their own material and the best kite will win. Winners will be awarded after top management team judges it.
The other event is "H9 Changa Chett" meaning "the kite battle" which helps to inspire the participants to enjoy the Nepalese spirit of how to play kite. H9 Bingo is the third exciting interactive activity which bring all staffs together again.
"Different castes are living in Nepal. Culture and tradition keep even those with different behavior in one, like a confluence of river. In the same way, this program has been organised from past two years to reflect the unity of the Himalaya family’’ Vijay Shrestha, Vice-President of Himalaya Airlines stated.
Stakeholders have sponsored the prizes. Home appliances and electronic appliances are also included in the prize. Himalaya further is objected to end the festive session with formal celebration, dances and performances.
Mrs. Dali highlights the good part of the competition which uncovers that even the outsource staffs are included along with the Himalaya employees in the competition to have the mixed culture for enjoying Dashain activities. Himalaya takes the spirit of Dashain and cultural tradition forward for Nepal. It promotes team building as well as winning spirit among all staffs.
