Sep 27: Nepalese cricket team has succeeded in making history by breaking the record of highest target of 278 runs in T20 match against Mongolia in Asian Games. Nepal has scored the highest 314 runs in T20 so far. With this record, Nepal is the first country to complete so many runs in 20 overs.This remarkable achievement surpasses the previous highest T20 total, which stood at 278/3, set by Afghanistan against Ireland in 2019.
Nepali cricketer Dipendra Singh Airee has set a world record for scoring fifty (50) runs in the fewest balls in T20 cricket. He has completed 50 runs in 9 balls in the match against Mongolia. Airee has succeeded in breaking the record of 50 runs in 12 balls of Indian player Yuvraj Singh.
Nepalese player Kushal Malla has set a world record for scoring 100 runs in less balls in T20 cricket. He scored a 34-ball century. This is the fastest century in World T20 international cricket. Malla has created history by breaking the record of African player David Miller's century run in 35 balls.
