10-year-old boy died as lightning struck his home in Sanghu, Maivakhola Rural Municipality-4 on Wednesday. The child's father and mother are injured and undergoing treatment.

Village Chairman Vijay Prakash Vanem informed that Phurwadorchi Sherpa died due to lightning at around 8 pm on Wednesday. 47-year-old father Darinjen Sherpa and mother Nimalhamu Sherpa are undergoing normal treatment at the district hospital. The hospital said that the condition of both is normal.
