Petrol pumps in Kathmandu valley will be closed from tomorrow. The petrol pumps are being closed in protest against the government’s failure to provide workers employed in petrol pumps with the coronavirus vaccine.

Narad Bhandari, Office Secretary of the Nepal Petroleum Dealers National Association, said that the petrol pumps in Bagmati Province will be closed from tomorrow as the government has failed to provide anti-COVID-19 vaccine to workers of petrol pumps.

Besides Dhading, petrol pumps in all other districts of Bagmati Province will remain closed from tomorrow. The association has mentioned that once the government starts vaccinating petrol pump employees it will withdraw its agitation.
