Nepal is special priority partner: Indian PM Modi

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 19: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on being appointed as the Prime Minister of Nepal. 

In his congratulatory message, he said that he is ready to work together with his counterpart Oli in order to take the bilateral partnership to higher level and realize the aspirations of the people of both countries. 

Indian PM Modi expressed his belief that with the leadership and valuable experience of PM Oli, the comprehensive cooperation between the two friendly countries will move in a positive direction which in turn will benefit both countries. 

Mentioning that Nepal is a partner of special priority under India’s ‘neighbor first’ policy, Indian PM Modi has expressed his government’s commitment to be a stable partner in Nepal’s search for economic prosperity and development priorities. 

He has expressed his readiness to move forward by strengthening the partnership of mutual benefit and exploring new areas of cooperation. Prime Minister Oli took oath as the 45th Prime Minister of Nepal.
