The admission process for the 1st-year undergraduate (honours) and BBA programs in the A, B, and C units for the academic year 2023-2024 at Jagannath University (JnU) is going to start on Wednesday.

The information was revealed in a notice signed by the registrar in-charge of the university Professor Dr Aynul Islam on Tuesday.

According to the notice, prospective candidates should apply through online by depositing an initial fee of Tk5,000 between 12pm of Wednesday to 11:59pm of Friday. The applicants who are preliminarily admitted must visit the respective dean's office between 8am to 4pm of Thursday to Saturday to submit the acknowledgment slip of the admission fee payment along with the original transcript of SSC, HSC or equivalent examination.

Receipts for submitted original documents (applicants' copy) must be collected to confirm the preliminary admission.

The announcement aims to facilitate a smooth admission process for aspiring students and ensure transparency in the procedure.
