The standing committees of the parliament have been formed, along with the election of their respective Chairs and Vice Chairs.
At Monday's sitting, the standing committee members were appointed.
Committee on National Security Services (241)

Saleem was elected to chair the committee unanimously by all of its members, while Falah was elected as vice chair. The Inguraidhoo MP is also PNC parliamentary group's leader as well.
After his election to lead the 241 committee, Saleem said the committee is tasked with overseeing crucial assignments. He assured the committee will function diligently, and announced to table a meeting soon.
