Chinese Embassy of Nepal today hosted a program celebrating Gyalbo Loshar, a Tibetan New Year to congratulate all Tibetan and Nepalese Sherpa's a happy new year and prosperous coming days.

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Mr. Chen Song, around 500 Tibetan compatriots residing in Nepal and media friends attended the reception. He in his speech extended greetings and sincere wishings towards all Tibetans celebrating Gyalbo Loshar.

The program had three dance performance in groups of boys and girls performed in a nepali cultural song wearing nepali cultural dress to welcome and show cultural diversity and tolerance among the Nepalese culture to guests gathered on the occasion of Loshar. It gave program a cultural height.

Similarly, not only some Chinese songs were presented but also a group of Confucious Institute at Kathmandu University also presented their group of 8 students and made the program more alive by singing a Chinese song taking the guest more into the Loshar event.

The whole Tibetan community celebrate Loshar for total 15days from 9th of Falgun,4 days before today to 23rd of Falgun. All of the the guests along with the ambassador Cheng Song participated in the traditional form of group dance of Sherpas and Tibetans at the end of the program.
