SATV 08 July, Kathmandu: Nine persons stranded in various places of Rasuwa after the flooded Lhende stream in Nepal-China border have been rescued safely.
Among 37 persons gone out of contact, it was learnt that 22 were safe in a shelter while 15 were yet to come in contact, according to Drub Prasad Adhikari, Assistant CDO in Rasuwa.
Meanwhile, the Home Minister's secretariat has informed that a helicopter was ready to rescue those stranded by the flooding. However, adverse weather is hampering the operation of helicopter in Rasuwa.
An NA helicopter is standby at Trishuli, Nuwakot.
