SATV Kathmandu, Nov.29: More than Rs 30 billion in investments have been made in more than 9,000 industries established across the country.

According to the Department of Industry, an investment of Rs 30,393,300,000 has been made in the 9,515 industries that were registered in the fiscal year 2080/81.

It has been estimated that the established industries have given employment to 705,878 people. 

Of the 9,515 industries registered in the previous fiscal year 2080/81, 77 per cent are small-scale industries, 12 per cent are medium-scale industries and 11 per cent are large-scale industries.
