SATV, Kathmandu, July 18: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Mr. Chen Song made a courtesy meeting with newly appointed Honourable Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Mr. Prakash Man Singh on Thursday.

Ambassador Chen expressed his satisfaction in meeting with Honorable Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Mr. Prakash Man Singh, extending warm congratulations during the visit.

Discussions centered on fostering China-Nepal relations and advancing cooperation across multiple sectors, notably in urban development.

 The Ambassador had informed that China was prepared to assist in the reconstruction efforts following last year's earthquakes in Rukum and Jajarkot. Deputy Prime Minister Singh expressed his commitment to further expanding relations between both countries and urged for increased cooperation from Nepal.

Sharing his words in X, he writes "Glad to call on Hon. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Mr. Prakash Man Singh, and warm congratulations. We exchanged views on China-Nepal relation, and cooperation on various fields including urban development."
