Kathmandu, June 31st: President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed 19 ministers on Monday.
The newly appointed ministers took the oath of office and secrecy before President Paudel in a special ceremony held at Prime Minister’s Place Sheetal Niwas this morning.
Newly appointed Minister of Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung, Minister of Home Affairs Ramesh Lekhak, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security Sharat Singh Bhandari, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Arju Rana, Minister of Water Supply Pradeep Yadav, Minister of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Balram Adhikari, Minister of Industries, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari and Minister of Women, Children and Senior Citizens Navalkishori Shah Sudi have taken the oath of office and confidentiality.
Similarly, Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Devendra Dahal, Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary, Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ajay Kumar Chaurasia, Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Prasad Pandey, Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister Ram Nath Adhikari, Education, Science and Technology Minister Vidya Bhattarai, Defense Minister Manveer Rai, Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Deepak Khadka, Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Rajkumar Gupta and Forest and Environment Minister Aain Bahadur Shahi have taken the oath of office and secrecy.
Earlier in the same ceremony, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had taken the oath of office and secrecy. After that, Deputy Prime Minister Prakashman Singh and Bishnu Prasad Paudel took the oath of office and secrecy.
Vice President Ramsahaya Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Oli, Chief Justice Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Speaker Narayan Prasad Dahal, outgoing Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', former Prime Ministers Sher Bahadur Deuba, Jhalnath Khanal, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, leaders of various political parties, parliamentarians, special officials of the government of Nepal, heads of security agencies, heads and representatives of foreign diplomatic missions in Nepal and special personalities who have contributed in various fields of social life have participated.
