Camilla is set to resume royal duties on March 11, 2024, after her week-long break  

King Charles has not only been fully supportive of his wife, Queen Camilla’s short vacation, in fact, he’s the one who suggested it in the first place.

Camilla jetted off for a week-long holiday on Saturday after she was said to be “exhausted” from a hectic month full of royal engagements and navigating through her husband’s cancer diagnosis.

Now, a source cited by Us Weekly revealed that the time off was a mutual choice between Charles, 75, and Camilla, 76.

Camilla last week led the royal family at a memorial service for King Constantine of Greece at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, after the Prince William mysteriously pulled out at the 11th hour.

“Charles saw that Camilla was working too hard while also worrying and trying to care for Charles,” the insider told the outlet. “They both decided she should take a week off so she isn’t burning the candle at both ends.”

After the break, Camilla will be resuming on royal duties from March 11. She will be filling in for the monarch at Westminster Abbey for the annual Commonwealth Day service.

Meanwhile, the King will make an address via video as he recuperates from his cancer treatment.
