The State Trading Organization (STO) is preparing to begin wholesale service of staple foods -- rice, sugar, and flour -- in Hulhumale'.

The store is scheduled to open in Hulhumale' Phase II this week. This is the first time staple foods will be available for wholesale in Hulhumale'.

STO earlier opened a shop in Hulhumale' Phase II under the name "STO Roadha Mart" ahead of Ramadan. The state-owned company is preparing to open a wholesale store in Hulhumale' amid rumors that staple foods are difficult to obtain at this time.
