The Maldives on Thursday recorded an additional COVID-19 death.

According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), a 44-year-old local male admitted at Hulhumale' COVID-19 Facility passed away at 3:15 am. This is the 241st COVID-19 death in the Maldives, and the ninth death this month.

95 positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the Maldives over the past 24 hours. The country's tally is now at 86,419.
