SATV Mar.11, Kathmandu: Visitors to the Yunnan Ethnic Village scenic area in Kunming, Yunnan Province, had the chance to enjoy an immersive experience sampling the charming local ethnic culture. During a joyous celebration of the Sanduo Festival of Naxi ethnic group, visitors were invited to dance with the local Naxi people. Boasting a history of more than 1,000 years, the festival is an occasion for the Naxi people to worship their guardian god through a variety of celebrations–including sacrifices, banquets, and song and dance performances.
