'PM Oli's visit will enhance Nepal-China relations'

SATV China (Beijing), Nov 21: Leaders of Nepal and China have expressed their beliefs that the upcoming China visit of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will help to elevate relations and cooperation between both countries.

In a formal programme organised in the Chinese capital Beijing leaders of the Chinese Communist Party and CPN (UML), they expressed their beliefs.

In the bilateral meeting held in Beijing, UML senior vice president and former deputy prime minister Ishwor Pokharel said that the visit of the Prime Minister and UML Chairman Oli will further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.

He expressed confidence that a solid plan will be made for the implementation of the earlier agreements between Nepal and China and a new understanding will be reached to take the mutual relationship to a higher level.

The head of the International Department of the Chinese Communist Party and Minister, Liu Jianchao, said that the Chinese and Nepali people have great expectations from Nepal's Prime Minister Oli's scheduled visit to China, and said that there will be a discussion on strengthening the relationship between the two countries and the party.

Before that, Deputy Minister of the International Department Sun Haiyan said that the two countries will learn from each other's experience and move forward with cooperation. 

A high-level team led by UML Senior Vice President Pokharel is currently visiting China. Earlier there was an interaction between the Nepalese team and the Chinese Communist Party School Division. The Nepali team has participated in various programs held in different places in China.
