The Center for Enterprise and Society (CES), University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), and ActionAid Bangladesh (AAB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the ULAB Permanent Campus on Monday to promote diversity, tolerance, and social cohesion across the youth of Bangladesh.
Under the agreement, ULAB and AAB will leverage their respective resources, experiences, and networks to support collaborative activities.
The partnership aligns well with ULAB’s seven-year-long program titled “Building Resilient University” project.
The agreement shall allow ULAB and AAB to design and implement curricular and extracurricular initiatives targeted towards grassroots-level youths to create awareness of social tolerance and pluralism.
Prof Imran Rahman, vice chancellor of ULAB, and Farah Kabir, country director of AAB, signed on behalf of their respective institutions.
This project is led by Associate Prof Sajid Amit.
The signing ceremony was also attended by Mushfiqur Rahman, senior manager, ULAB, and Nazmul Ahsan Miraz, manager, ActionAid Bangladesh.
