The 10-party ruling coalition will announce the minimum common program of the government at 5 pm today. This decision was taken by the 10-party alliance sitting at thePrime Minister's official residence, Baluwatar, on Thursday morning.
Talking to media persons after the meeting, General Secretary of CPN (Maoist Centre) Dev Prasad Gurung said that the parties of the alliance have agreed on theoretical and policy issues regarding the minimum common policies and programs of the government.
Stating that the parties and leaders can give some suggestions by 5 pm today, he said, 'It has been decided to announce the minimum common program of the government at 5pm.'
He said,"There was a theoretical and policy discussion about the minimum commonpolicy and program of the government between the political parties. There is ageneral agreement among all.
If there are any small suggestions, they should be given by this evening and the time for making them public has been fixed at 5 pm. There has been a fundamental agreement on democracy, nationalism, people's livelihood and good governance. General Secretary Gurung informed that the issue of the Council ofMinisters for making it complete was not included in today's meeting.
